Every Speed Junkies giveaway has a free way in. Here it is, in plain terms, with the addresses.
What does “no purchase necessary” actually mean?
It means exactly what it says: you can enter and win without spending anything, and buying something does not improve your chances. Every entry has the same chance of being drawn, however it was obtained.
This isn't goodwill. It's the law, and it's the difference between a lawful sweepstakes and an illegal lottery.
Why the free route has to exist
Under US law, a promotion becomes an illegal lottery when it combines three things: a prize, winning by chance, and consideration — meaning you must pay to take part.
Private companies cannot run lotteries. So lawful sweepstakes remove the third element by keeping a genuine free entry route open for the whole promotion, with the same odds per entry as any other method.
That free route is often called an AMOE — Alternative Method of Entry. It's usually a mail-in entry, sometimes a web form.
If a giveaway has no free entry route, it isn't a lawful sweepstakes. That's the single fastest way to judge one, and it's the first check in our guide to whether car giveaways are real.
How to enter Speed Junkies giveaways for free
Hand-print the following on a 3×5 inch card or piece of paper:
- Your full name
- Your complete mailing address
- Your phone number
- Your date of birth
- Your email address
Put it in a #10 business-sized envelope with proper postage, and mail it to the address for the giveaway you're entering.
The addresses are different for each giveaway
This matters. Sending to the wrong box means your entry doesn't count.

How many entries does a mail-in get?
Each mail-in entry is worth 500 entries. If it's postmarked during an announced bonus period, it's worth substantially more — write the applicable bonus amount on the back of the envelope, or the bonus won't be applied.

The rules that trip people up
- Hand-print it yourself. Both the card and the envelope. Photocopied, printed or mechanically reproduced entries are void.
- One envelope per entry. Bulk shipments aren't accepted.
- No third-party entry services. Using one disqualifies the entry.
- If you physically can't write the card, someone else may complete it on your behalf with your details as the entrant.
- No confirmation is sent. Requests to confirm receipt aren't acknowledged.
- Wrong bonus period written on the envelope disqualifies the entry, so match it to your postmark date.
Who's eligible
US residents 18 or older, or the age of majority in their state. Excludes Alaska and Hawaii; void in Puerto Rico and where prohibited.
One catches people out: if you, or anyone in your immediate household, has won a sweepstakes or contest prize in the past 12 calendar months, you're not eligible. Worth checking before you mail anything.
Who runs the drawings
An independent administrator — American Sweepstakes & Promotion Co., Inc. of Rochester, New York. They conduct the drawing and contact the winner by phone. Speed Junkies HQ LLC is the sponsor and does not select its own winners.

What is an AMOE?

Do free entries have the same chance of winning?

Can I photocopy my mail-in entry to send several?
No. Each card and envelope must be hand-printed by the entrant, and each envelope must be mailed individually. Photocopied or mechanically reproduced entries are void, and bulk shipments are not accepted.
Do I get a confirmation that my mail-in entry arrived?
No. Correspondence isn't acknowledged and requests to confirm receipt of mail-in entries aren't answered.
Is a sweepstakes without free entry legal?
Generally no. A promotion combining a prize, chance and required payment is a lottery, which private companies cannot lawfully run in the United States. A giveaway with no free entry route is the clearest warning sign there is.
