Speed Junkies HQ LLC (“Speed Junkies HQ”, “we”, “us”) runs the online store at speedjunkieshq.com and the sweepstakes promoted on it. Our registered address is 3056 Castro Valley Blvd, Suite 121, Castro Valley, CA 94546, United States.

This policy explains what personal information we collect through this website, why we collect it, who we share it with, and the choices you have. Questions go to support@speedjunkieshq.com or through the Help Center contact form.

This policy covers speedjunkieshq.com, the checkout and customer accounts we operate through Shopify, our customer-support channels, and the sweepstakes entry records tied to your account.

It does not cover any third-party website you reach from a link on our site. Once you leave speedjunkieshq.com, the privacy policy of that site applies.

• Order information - your name, email address, shipping address, billing address, an optional phone number, and what you ordered.
• Account information - the email address you use to sign in. Sign-in uses a one-time code sent to your email rather than a stored password.
• Support messages - anything you send us through the Help Center contact form or by email, including your name, email address, optional phone number and the content of your message.
• Marketing sign-up - the email address you give us if you subscribe to our newsletter.
• Mail-in sweepstakes entries - the Official Rules require a mail-in entry card to carry your full name, mailing address, phone number, date of birth and email address.
• Winner verification - if you are selected as a potential winner, the sweepstakes Administrator collects the information described in section 8.

Checkout runs on Shopify. Card and wallet details are collected and processed by the payment providers shown at checkout, not by us. Speed Junkies HQ does not receive or store your full card number, CVV or online banking credentials.

Speed Junkies HQ will never ask for card details, bank details or a payment by email, phone, text or direct message. If someone does, read Prevent Scams.

When you browse the site we and our providers automatically collect technical and usage information, including your IP address, approximate location derived from it, device and browser type, operating system, referring page, the pages you view, and how you interact with them.

Some of this is collected with cookies and similar technologies. We also use a session-analytics tool that records aggregated interaction data such as clicks, scrolling and page journeys, which is used to find usability problems on the store.

We use three broad categories:

• Strictly necessary - sign-in, cart, checkout, fraud prevention and security. The store does not work without these.
• Performance and analytics - understanding which pages are used and where people get stuck.
• Advertising - measuring campaigns and showing you Speed Junkies HQ ads on other websites.

You can control cookies through your browser settings, and you can opt out of the sale or sharing of your personal information for targeted advertising on our Your Privacy Choices page. Turning off cookies may stop parts of the store from working.

We share personal information with the providers that make the store work. We do not sell your information to data brokers, and we do not allow our providers to use it for their own unrelated marketing.

• Shopify - our commerce platform: hosting, checkout, customer accounts, order management and platform analytics.
• Payment providers - the card and wallet providers shown at checkout, for payment processing and fraud screening.
• Production and shipping partners - our made-to-order production partners and the carriers that deliver your parcel.
• Analytics and advertising providers - Google (Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager and the Google & YouTube sales channel), Meta (the Facebook pixel used for advertising measurement) and Microsoft Clarity (session and interaction analytics).
• Speed Junkies HQ Manager - the app that calculates and stores the sweepstakes entries attached to your account.
• American Sweepstakes & Promotion Co., Inc. - the independent Administrator named in the Official Rules, which runs the drawings and verifies winners.
• Professional advisers and authorities - where we are legally required to disclose information, or where we need advice about a legal claim.

Purchases and valid mail-in entries generate sweepstakes entries that are recorded against your Speed Junkies HQ account. Entry amounts and eligibility are governed by the Official Rules for each sweepstakes.

Under the current Official Rules, a potential winner must sign and return an Affidavit of Eligibility, Liability and Publicity to the Administrator, and the Affidavit requires the winner to give the Administrator a Social Security Number that is used solely for tax reporting. An IRS Form 1099 is filed in the winner’s name for the value of the prize. The Official Rules also grant the right to publish a winner’s name, city and state, and our Past Winners page shows city and state only, never private contact details.

If you subscribe to our newsletter or opt in during checkout, we send you Speed Junkies HQ news, product drops and giveaway updates. Every marketing email has an unsubscribe link, and unsubscribing takes effect for marketing only.

Transactional messages are different: order confirmations, shipping notices, account sign-in codes, subscription renewal notices and replies from support are sent because you bought something or contacted us, and they are not marketing.

Order and transaction records are kept for as long as we need them to run the business and to meet tax, accounting and consumer-protection obligations. Sweepstakes entry records and winner documentation are kept for the period the Administrator and applicable sweepstakes law require. Support messages are kept while they are useful for handling your issue and for a reasonable period afterwards. Marketing contact details are kept until you unsubscribe.

The storefront and checkout are served over HTTPS, and payment card data is handled by PCI-DSS compliant payment providers rather than by us. Access to customer records in our Shopify admin is limited to people who need it.

No website or transmission method is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. Protect your side of it too: never share your one-time sign-in code with anyone, including anyone claiming to be from Speed Junkies HQ.

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:

• know what personal information we hold about you and how we use it;
• get a copy of it, or have it sent to another provider;
• correct information that is wrong;
• ask us to delete it;
• opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information for targeted advertising;
• not be treated differently for exercising any of these rights.

To make a request, email support@speedjunkieshq.com or use the Help Center contact form and choose the privacy topic. We will ask you to verify your identity, normally by confirming details of a recent order or by responding from the email address on the account, so that we do not hand your information to someone else. An authorised agent may act for you if they provide written permission signed by you, and we may still contact you directly to confirm.

Speed Junkies HQ operates from California. We use advertising and analytics technologies that share personal information such as identifiers, device information and browsing activity with advertising partners so that we can show you relevant ads elsewhere. Under California and several other U.S. state privacy laws, that sharing may be treated as a “sale”, “sharing” or “targeted advertising”.

You can opt out at any time on our Your Privacy Choices page, or by sending a Global Privacy Control signal from a browser that supports one. Opting out does not stop us from processing your order or contacting you about it.

This store is not directed to children. The Official Rules require entrants to be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority in their state, at the time of entry. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 13. If you believe a child has given us information, email support@speedjunkieshq.com and we will delete it.

We are based in the United States and our providers process information in the United States. Sweepstakes eligibility is limited by the Official Rules for each sweepstakes. If you visit the store from outside the United States, you are sending your information to a country whose data-protection laws may differ from your own.

We update this policy when our practices, our providers or the law change. The date at the top always shows the current version. Material changes will be announced on this page before they take effect.
