Win a Car

You can enter to win a car with Speed Junkies HQ, free, with no purchase necessary. Every giveaway is administered, bonded, and insured by American Sweepstakes & Promotion Co., Inc., an independent firm that selects the winner — we don't. Free mail-in entries carry exactly the same odds as entries earned through a purchase, and every drawing is revealed live on our Instagram.

How to win a car with Speed Junkies

There are three ways to enter, and they all feed the same drawing.

1. Enter free by mail

Hand-print your full name, mailing address, phone number, date of birth, and email on a 3"x5" card, and mail it in a #10 envelope. Each mail-in entry is worth 500 entries. Full instructions and the current address are on our free entry page.

2. Buy apparel

Every purchase from our shop earns entries into the live giveaway. You get the gear either way.

3. VIP Membership

VIP is $5 a month and grants 1,500 entries per car in every eligible live giveaway, plus member discounts. Cancel anytime.

Is it actually possible to win a car in a giveaway?

Yes — from a legitimate operator. The category has a scam problem, so the way to protect yourself is to check four things before entering any car giveaway, ours included:

  • Dated official rules naming the sponsor's legal entity, with eligibility, odds, and the drawing date
  • A free entry route with equal odds — required by US law. If you must pay, walk away
  • Publicly named winners, ideally with video of the drawing
  • An independent administrator rather than the company drawing its own winner

Car raffle vs car sweepstakes — what's the difference?

People search for a "car raffle" and a "car giveaway" interchangeably, but legally they aren't the same. A raffle requires you to pay for a ticket, which makes it a lottery — and in most US states, private lotteries are illegal. A sweepstakes is legal because it always includes a free entry method with equal odds.

Speed Junkies runs sweepstakes, not raffles. That's why the free mail-in route exists and why it carries the same odds as a purchase.

Who can enter?

Legal residents of the 48 contiguous United States and Washington DC, 18 or older. Hawaii and Puerto Rico are excluded. Winners of other sweepstakes within the past 12 months are not eligible.

What are the odds?

Odds depend on the total number of eligible entries received for that giveaway. Exact odds are stated in each giveaway's official rules, which are published before entries open.
